Please note:
- For the first time, applications for biometric passports or temporary passports can be processed in Galway and are forwarded to the embassy by the honorary consul. The Honorary Consul cannot accept applications for identity cards or visas.
- The fees for consular services provided by honorary consuls are the same as those charged by the embassy. Please note, however, that an additional service fee will be charged on top of the regular passport fees for passport applications accepted by honorary consuls.
- Honorary consuls perform their duties on a voluntary basis in addition to their regular profession. Their office hours and opening times are therefore limited, and they can only offer a limited range of consular services. In urgent cases, please contact the Embassy in Dublin directly.
