The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Dublin is seeking to recruit at the earliest possible point in time an Office Administrator for the Communications, Culture and Political departments

Responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining the embassy’s website and social media accounts
  • Preparation and, if necessary, accompanying of incoming delegations and Embassy representatives at appointments in Ireland
  • Planning and implementation of cultural events and other embassy events
  • Responding to oral and written inquiries
  • Research work

Applicants should have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Ability to work in a team
  • Very good knowledge of spoken and written English, good oral knowledge of German, completed school education
  • Experience in social media management, creativity and a feel for trends, target groups, storytelling
  • Confident use of social media tools (e. g. Meta-Business Suite, Canva)
  • Knowledge of image and video editing as well as the programs and tools necessary to create content
  • Independent and structured way of working
  • Strong communication skills and intercultural competence, good knowledge of the Irish country is very welcome
  • Ability to work under pressure and willingness to work occasionally, even outside normal working hours

Working hours for this full-time job are 39 hours per week, the gross salary at the start is 3,364 euros per month. A 13th month salary is paid. The embassy guarantees professional equality for women and men.
